蒋熙德（Volker Scheid)，1958 年出生于 德国。人文学家，西方著名的中医学者。他 大学毕业后就开始研习中医，并在英国开办 了中医针灸诊所，曾先后在美国和中国的数 所大学学习中文和中医理论，并多次到中国 拜访名师。蒋熙德的中医药研究卓有成效， 发表了多篇中医药方面的论文和多部中医药 方面的著作。他是英国剑桥大学博士、伦敦 大学博士后，现任伦敦威斯敏斯特大学结合 医学中心研究员、英国卫生部研究员、亚洲 传统医学国际学会会长等职。
